Botanical Screen Printing


Join local artists Elizabeth and Sarah Martin for this one day screen printing workshop. Learning all elements of screen printing so that you can create homewares and clothing at home! Participants will be designing their own botanical inspired print, transferring it onto an A4 size screen and printing with water based heat set textile inks onto 100% cotton tea towels (or fabric object of their choice supplied by the participant/s).

Screens will be available for sale if you would like to continue to create at home.

Liz Martin is a visual artist who enjoys working with many different mediums including painting, drawing, sculpture, textiles, printmaking and photography. Naturally inquisitive and with an eye for detail she explores many themes in her work: nature and its rhythms, the beauty of the human body, the built environment and its effect on social cultures. @elizabethmartinartist

Sarah Martin is an artist and designer with a love of bright colour and bold patterns. When she's not sitting at a computer creating ace graphics you can find her making jewellery, heading out into the NT wilderness on camping/painting/road trips, screen printing tea towels, working on new designs, or patting her dogs.
